World International Dance Day Celebration

Salwan Junior School joyfully celebrated World International Dance Day on 30th April 2025 in the school foyer with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit. The event was beautifully hosted by the students of Class III, who confidently anchored the assembly and brought the theme of the day to life.

The assembly began with a brief yet insightful introduction by the students about International Dance Day—its origin, purpose, and the importance of dance as a universal language that promotes cultural exchange, expression, and unity. They highlighted how dance not only entertains but also improves physical health, boosts confidence, and encourages creativity among individuals.

Following this, selected students delivered short speeches focusing on various dance forms from around the world. They shared interesting facts and traditions related to the dance styles of Arabia, USA, China, Russia, Japan, and India. Each speech reflected the unique rhythm, story, and cultural significance attached to the dance form of the respective country.

The celebration concluded with vibrant and energetic dance performances by the students. Each performance was a visual treat and showcased a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, representing the spirit of international unity through dance.

The entire program was a great success and truly emphasized the theme of the day – celebrating the art of dance as a global language of expression and harmony.
