Children of Class I and II participated in a delightful activity—making a nature collage using leaves. Children brought a variety of leaves from home. They observed the different shapes, sizes, and textures of the leaves, and then used them creatively to make beautiful collages depicting trees, butterflies, animals, and even imaginative patterns. The classroom buzzed with excitement as students explored nature’s textures and expressed their creativity on paper. They used glue, googly eyes, flower petals and a few sketch pens to enhance their work, proudly showcasing their creations to their peers and teachers. This hands-on activity not only strengthened their observation and fine motor skills but also fostered an appreciation for nature. It was heartening to see students so engaged and enthusiastic, and many expressed how much they enjoyed working with natural materials. Overall, it was a joyful learning experience that beautifully combined creativity with environmental awareness.
