To honour and appreciate the tireless efforts of our Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), the students of Class V conducted a special assembly on the occasion of Labour Day on 1st May 2025.
The celebration began with the school prayer, followed by a soulful bhajan that set a respectful and serene tone for the morning. A student recited a heartfelt poem, and another delivered an insightful speech, highlighting the dignity of labour and the importance of acknowledging every role in a school’s ecosystem.
As a tribute to the invaluable work done by the MTS staff, students enacted a short play portraying the various roles of different MTS members in the school—be it the helping hands in the classrooms, caretakers ensuring cleanliness, or the staff maintaining discipline and safety. The play beautifully conveyed how each of them contributes to the smooth functioning of the school and makes it a better place for all.
To make the occasion even more special, the MTS staff were given a warm welcome, presented with handmade cards, and honoured with creative titles that matched their unique contributions. These gestures brought visible joy and appreciation among the staff.
The celebration concluded with some team-building games, engaging both students and MTS staff, spreading cheer, and fostering a deeper bond of respect and gratitude.
The assembly was a meaningful and joyous experience that not only celebrated the spirit of Labour Day but also instilled in students a deep sense of empathy, gratitude, and respect for every individual who contributes to their learning journey.
