Nursery Class Demo Function

Demo Function was organized for the Nursery class on 17.7.25 ( Thursday ) for class Nursery A and (18.7.25) for class Nursery B to showcase the daily learning activities of our young learners. The event took place in the respective classrooms, where parents were warmly welcomed and given the opportunity to observe their children in action.

The program began with a heartfelt prayer followed by a cheerful good morning song, creating a lively and positive atmosphere. The children then enthusiastically participated in various activities designed to support their early development. They learned about body parts , followed by an action rhyme “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes,” which helped them recall the names of body parts in a fun and engaging way. In the hygiene tools activity, children explored items placed in cups and discussed their uses. This was reinforced by the rhyme “Brush Brush Brush Your Teeth,” encouraging good hygiene habits.

Next, during the LTI (Learning Through Interaction) session, letters were written on the board and each child took turns identifying and speaking the letter, it’s phonic sound and vocabulary words aloud, building their vocabulary and confidence. The energy continued with the delightful Chick Dance, where children imitated chick movements with joy and excitement. Practical life skills were also emphasized through hands-on activities such as beading, buttoning, and zipping, which support fine motor development and independence.

The children also confidently recited the Hindi rhyme “धोबी आया” showcasing their growing language abilities. The session concluded on a joyful note with the popular action song “If You Are Happy and You Know It,” filling the classroom with laughter and applause.

The Demo Function was a beautiful reflection of the children’s learning journey. The presence and appreciation of the parents made the event even more special, creating a strong bond between home and school.

Thanks and Regards
