School Policies

Code of Conduct

A shared set of values and everyday habits that shape life at Salwan Junior School — framed to help every Salwanian grow into a confident, courteous, and responsible young individual.

The Identity of a Salwanian

Once a Salwanian, always a Salwanian

“Excellence is not a singular act but a habit. You are what you do repeatedly.”

With the belief that excellence is not a singular act but a habit, a set of guidelines in the form of rules and regulations has been framed for students, to be followed as their way of life. These guidelines act as refining fires, helping students emerge as confident, promising, and polished individuals.

Code of Conduct

For Parents

Partners in the journey

  • A Parent Identity Card is provided to all parents. Parents must carry it whenever visiting the school.
  • On their birthday, students may wear neat and modest formal party wear instead of the school uniform. The attire should be comfortable, age-appropriate, and suitable for school activities.
  • To promote healthy and environmentally responsible celebrations, parents may send one small all-season sapling for plantation in the school garden or donate a book to the class or school library.
  • Students may distribute only one stationery item (maximum value ₹10 per child) to each classmate. Permitted items include a pencil, eraser, sharpener, single crayon, or bookmark.
  • Sweets, chocolates, cakes, pastries, other food items, toys, return gifts, and novelty items are not permitted.
